It's the second consecutive year of collaboration with KANDAI Me RISE of Kansai University (Umeda campus). This campus is built with the idea of "creating a place to guide people and bring them together. A place to reinvent yourself, to think"

Last year in "Robo Fes 2017" thanks to the cooperation of Kansai University we got over 1000 participants!

It's a competition of robot programming. There are many Robo Con around the world such as WRO (World Robot Olympiad) or FLL (First Lego League). In the Robo Con, you have one objective and you compete through score (accuracy) and time (speed). Not only the programming is important, the robot building (design) plays a big role in the competition getting a perfect balance between software and hardware.
In the Robo Con we use the LEGO Mindstorm EV3 Educational edition ©. Its visual programming system allows children to understand easily programming concepts and because kids love robots they will have fun while learning programming. We will lend laptops, ipads and robots at the event hall so there is no need to bring your own materials.

小惑星探査機「はやぶさ2」が2018年の6〜7月にかけて目的地である
「小惑星リュウグウ」にいよいよ到着する予定です！
そこでロボフェス2018では、はやぶさ2が到着する前に小惑星リュウグウが、一体どれぐらいの大きさで、
どんな色や形の天体なのかを自由に想像して描く作品を募集します！
応募作品は本会場にて展示され、ご来場の皆さまに審査していただき、
受賞作品はJAXAが主催するコンテスト「JAXAはやぶさ2プロジェクト」にノミネートします！（９月末）
